One month left until Walk like MADD Charlotte

Driving drunk is no different from driving totally BLIND...Nor any different than driving while cell phone chatting or texting....either are a CRIME!

	Dear Mrs, There is only one month left until we Walk like MADD in Charlotte and we need your support now more than ever. Register yourself or your team for the June 11th walk at Freedom Park today! For those of you who have already registered, consider going the extra mile by inviting some new friends to come out and help you support a worthy cause or make a donation to your team.   It's a great way to spend a Saturday morning with family and friends. Looking for an easy way to raise more money for your team? Here are some simple ideas to enhance your fundraising efforts: Send out emails through your walk participant center and post on Facebook to invite everyone you know to join your team, make a donation or start their own team. Let your employer know about your participation in Walk like MADD and ask if they have a matching gifts program or other ways to help. Contact us about ideas for quick and easy online community funds you can apply for in your hometown. Host a fundraiser (i.e., car wash or bake sale) to help raise funds for your team. Remember, North Carolina ranks 6th in the country for drunk driving deaths. I can't think of a better way to honor those killed or injured by drunk driving or underage drinking than to help prevent future tragedy.  We cannot continue our life saving mission without the generosity and support from all of you!  For more information about the walk, click here.
