I Yi Yi Yi >>>  My Eyes have Always Hurt...  49 yrs old and have received my first pair of appropriate glasses in my life!!
Not because my parents never tried!  Nor because I had poor Optometrists!  On the contrary I had most of my life an outstanding team of Doctors, but I learned Friday evening...  October 16, 2009... 
Only 18 states require licensing for Opticians...  and Louisiana where I was born no choice of my own...  where I have lived up till February 2007, is one of the 42 that do not have a licensing board governing those who measure patients and make prescription glasses for the public!!
